ABRAHAM CAMBRIDGE /// FOUNDER & CEO - THE SUN EXCHANGE
In 2008 I completed an MSc in the Science of Climate Change at the University of East Anglia, UK. It became to clear to me that solar energy is a crucial part of the ‘save the world’ tool-kit. Since then I have established several businesses that use solar energy as a means for creating positive changes in society. In 2010 I pioneered utility-scale solar in Britain and in 2012 a business I co-founded, The Renewable Energy Co-operative, was nominated 'International Co-operative of The Year' in the United Nations Year of Co-operatives. In 2014 my wife and I moved to South Africa to identify opportunities in the emerging African solar energy industry, I appreciate the sunshine!

MAREK SOBIENIECKI /// FOUNDER - NORDPEAK CONSULTING
Ever since I experienced the magic of converting sunlight into electricity and giving everyday people a chance to produce their own energy, I loved the concept and the possibilities it unlocked for us.
Since 2001 my professional focus has been in the field of decentralised energy generation. I spent the first years working with innovative Swedish start-up, PV-Enterprise, putting together the first building blocks of a young European photovoltaic industry. Serving there in different management positions, I finally joined the Board of Directors to prepare the company for the first-ever Solar Energy IPO in Sweden. The IPO, launched in Dec 2006, was a big success and accompanied by intensive press coverage raised general public awareness about potential of solar energy in Scandinavia.
In 2007 I decided to leave PVE and a year later I started Nordpeak Consulting. It turned out to be even more of a “solar-roller-coaster” experience. In the next years, our consulting team worked with multiple international projects positioned across the whole PV value chain and located in India, China, North America and Europe. Our scope of services gradually expanded from the areas of R&D and industrial manufacturing into development of investment projects, EPC and financing as well as marketing, sales and strategy consulting.
In the last 10 years we've had a privilege to work with some of the most influential individuals and brands in the industry, most recently building innovative and game-changing solutions with such valuable clients as Meyer Burger and IKEA Group.
Currently, at Nordpeak we are focused on the next big wave of energy (r)evolution, helping our customers to move from renewable energy generation towards energy storage and new distribution models, embracing into our consulting portfolio other new technologies such as Blockchain and Ai.
